I'm a Videographer. I wanted to make sure photographers knew about this case and how we use it. We fill it with a 0. 75m slider (2. 5 feet), a 4 foot crane with video head attached, two video tripods with heads, one triangulation mount, one car mount, and assorted other doodads. There is room for more, but then it will weigh over 100lbs (keep reading why that is important). We take out almost all of the foam, and use bubble wrap around the equipment. Filled with stuff, it weighs 91 to 99 lbs. That's important because it can be checked as oversized baggage on airlines (most airlines in the US have a weight LIMIT (MAXIMUM) of 100 lbs. Therefore, we can stuff this thing full, throw in some clothing, and top it off at 99lbs. Typically it costs around $200 to check an oversized baggage. But the linear dimensions are small enough to count as oversized, but still make it on the plane. Just keep it under 100lbs. (it would be hard but not impossible to fill this with enough stuff to be over 100lbs, so use a bathroom scale to be sure). As for durability, wow. Pelican is amazing so I don't have to tell you how durable it is. Also has vents to vent air to equalize pressure. You won't have to worry about your equipment being damaged as long as you wrap it properly. Another tip: It probably costs the same to ship this full to your destination via UPS, as long as you know ahead of time that you are going on a job and don't need your equipment until then. We haven't tried that yet, as the equipment is used constantly.
