I tried this case for a 13'' 2016 Macbook Pro w/ touchbar. not a win. I thought the difference in size would be negligible, but because this is not a pick-and-pluck interior like some of pelican's other cases or past versions, it is not easy to just fill in the remaining space or leave extra padding. The case does come with four adhesive pads, but they're honestly not that functional. For one, the adhesive isn't great. If you leave them intact and place them in the middle of the lid or at the corners, for instance, in order to take out the space in the depth dimension and stop the computer from sliding in the case once the lid is closed through friction, the edges of the case won't completely close. The plastic is too thin, so the sides bend when the inside of the case is too full. This prevents the seal from touching, defeating many of the advantages of this case. If you cut the foam pads in order to stop the laptop from sliding laterally, then the case closes and seals effectively, and the laptop stops sliding laterally, but then there is too much space in the depth of the case, and the computer shifts back and forth when the case is held on it's side (such as if you were carrying it). All in all, it's an average case. Flimsier than the Pelican 1080 I used for my old 2009 Macbook Pro 13'', but with less fitment options to accomodate the size difference between the case and the computer. If this case fits your computer size perfectly, I can see it being a great case. But it will not work for the 2016 Macbook Pro 13''.
